La Shana Tova

Happy Jewish New Year..I'm not sure how I feel about this one. This is the first holiday we will be together as a family without my dad. My dad loved holidays. He loved to be with all the family. He loved to eat! It was my dad who always blessed the wine and sat at the head of the table. This year that seat will be empty in more ways than we could imagine. I "talk" to my dad a lot. I ask him if he is watching over us. I tell him how he would love to see Katie's curly hair .."there was a little girl, who had a little curl right in the middle of her forehead"..I still hear him singing. He would love to see Ryan walking across the room and laughing the whole way. I have to believe he does see all these things. Believe...Believe.. Believe...
