Apple Picking

Today we attended our first Metabolic Picnic and went Apple Picking. The picnic was attended by metabolic patientsand their families, including those with PKU. It was great to meet other families and children and hear their stories. It inspires me to learn from them. Grandma Joan came with us and we had a lot of fun. We had our first real apple and even got to hit a pinata! We then we came home and took a 4 hour nap. Ah, the good days.
