The twins 11th birthday started like this...
And after school this happened...
Matt had been in Georgia for a little over a month an we decided to fly him home for a short weekend to surprise the kids for their birthday. Matt had never missed a birthday and it goes without saying how much we missed him. They were certainly surprised and Kate's reaction was emotionally priceless. We celebrated their birthday at the Melting Pot, one of their favorite places.
It was a short visit with Matt but we knew the countdown was beginning until we were all together again.
