Round 2 of my COVID-19 vaccine completed.
I feel blessed to be a part of the first groups to be able to receive the COVID vaccine. There is a specific priority of who can receive the vaccine. There are clinics set up all over the world but many people are having difficult getting appointments because the system is overwhelmed. My first one was on January 2 and today I was vaccinated with the second dose. Aside from a headache, I had no side affects from the first round. Time will tell how the second one goes but, in my opinion, the benefit outweighs the risks. Update- Had a fever, aches, chills and overall did not feel well but I would do it again!
On another note, the twins went back to face to face school on January 7. They have not been in the classroom since last March. Although they have done well with virtual learning, it was time to get back to routine. Kate was less than thrilled. She doesn't wat to be in school, she doesn't want to be in gym, and she is mad we won't keep her virtual. Ryan was ok going back. It lasted about a week and then, due to high COVID rated and exposure, the entire district went virtual last week. Kate also had close contact with a positive case so she would have had to go virtual regardless.
Hoping for a sense of normalcy, vaccines for all, and health!

Edited to add Matt was able to get vaccinated as well in March!
