When you husband calls you and says, " I had an accident and was hit head-on, your heart kinda stops for a second. All you care about is if the person is Ok, the rest comes secondary. Matt had a car accident on March 4th about 10 mins from home. The man that hit him made a narrow turn into Matt's lane as he was approaching a stop sign and admitted 100% fault. Matt's Honda Civic was 10 years old, he owned it for 8 years, paid off and, despite the miles, going strong. Having to invest in a new car was not in the plan but we had no choice as it was totalled out. He was hit by a large pick up truck which had no damage so we consider the fact he was not hurt a blessing.
After doing some relatively quick shopping, he decided to lease another Honda Civic. Here's to many good years with this one!
