Hello "Old" Friend

Taylor and Bedford. For close to 30 years that was where I called home. The corner of Taylor Street and Bedford Avenue. It is where I hold countless memories, walked my first steps, rode my bike and made my first friends.

Michael and Cheryl. Otherwise known as Mike and Che-Che. I lived diagonal from the both of them-me on Taylor, Mike and Che on Bedford. We were inserable as children. Our siblings were all the same age and our parents were great firiends.  From playing in the basements, learning to roller skate, playing games, swinging on swingsets, tag, kickball and swimming in each others pools...we did everything together. There are friendships in our lives that come and go and some that last a lifetime. The last time the three of us were together was at my wedding in 2005. Seeing each other today just reaffirms that no matter how many miles and years go in-between seeing each other, it feels just like it did back on Taylor and Bedford.
