May 1

Ryan- "Mom, do I have to drink my phenex anymore?"
Me-"Nope, you just tell me when you want to stop and you can stop."
Ryan- "Oh, ok because yesterday I saw the "phenex" truck go by."
Me- "Ryan, I think that was the Fed-ex truck you saw"

(For those that don't know Phenex is Ry's special PKU drink however because he is hyperphe and currently extremely fortunate to be on a regular diet, he no longer needs this drink)

May 24 

Ryan reading me a flip book he made called "Guess What I Am?" 

Ryan:- "I can fly very high. Can you guess what I am? I  am the blond eagle."

Kaitlyn- "Say it don't spare it!"

Kaitlyn- "What should I name my baby when I get a baby?"

Matt- "Laura."
Kaitlyn- "What else?"

Matt- "Luke."

Me- "Hmm. Watch General Hospital much?!"

 

September 4Me- "Ryan, what is taking you so long in the bathroom?"
Ryan- "Mom, I just need 5 minutes of peace!"

Ryan- "Do you know toilets are so big? So adults can sit on it!"

Me- "Ryan, there is no bug up your nose. Blow."

Ryan on the 100th day of school referring to his shirt "Mom everyone was surrounding me. It was like they all wanted my autograph or something!"

Kaitlyn- "Mom, that's not your fashion."

Kailtyn- "I don't want to get married because then you have a baby and I don't want to change it's diaper." 

Ryan-"Don't worry Kaitlyn, the dads do that!"

Ryan- "Mom, at Gym today I was liquid. I was sweating!"

December 1

Kaitlyn- "Ryan,  Santa has to be real , who else brings all those present ... Your parents?"

March 13

Ryan- "Today in gym class I told a girl if you touch me right here (armpit) it will feel like a juice box exploded."

Kaitlyn- "If I had a stepmom I hope she's not mean."
Me- "If you had a stepmom that would mean mommy and daddy wouldn't be married."

Kaitlyn- "Or you'd be dead."

June 14

Me- "Kaitlyn, did you have a good birthday party today? Did you like having your own party?

Kaitlyn- "I don't know. I kind of wish I had one with Ryan."

July 6
Me-"Ryan, how was camp today? Who do you sit with at lunch?"
Ryan-"My friends mom. We sit at the bad boy table."
