You are turning into a little man right before our eyes. We have been listening to you countdown your birthday for months and now here it is. The big 7! When! Did! This! Happen?! I have to say, 6 has been great, are you sure you want to leave it? You have had a fantastic year. You have remained at or above grade level in first grade. Your love for reading has not diminished. Now at night instead of Daddy or I reading to you, it’s you reading to us. Sometimes, giving up these little things and letting you take over makes me realize you truly are growing up. I wish I could slow time down just a little.

You are quite the funny child with such a sweet disposition. I am really thrown off guard on your “not so good days”. We all have them but sometimes you need to learn to express your emotions in a more efficient way. As I told your sister, I love watching the two of you interact. Kaitlyn comes to you for help with things and you always show her the way. You will always have each other. Family First. Don’t ever forget that!

Your favorite things right now are playing games on the IPAD (Minecraft) and playing with your Lego sets. You could spend all day building and rebuilding your sets. As most little boys are, you have taken a liking to Star Wars and Super Heroes. The days of spending hours watching Cars and Ice Age movies are few and far between although Manny is never too far away from you at night. You try really hard at all you do, especially this past season in baseball. We are really proud of you buddy. I cherish all of our snuggles and extra tight hugs. May this birthday be super and may all your birthday wishes come true!
