NYC

We decided to surprise the twins and take them to see the Radio City Christmas Spectacular in NYC. Kaitlyn always says "I want to see the girls dance like Annie did." We let them play hooky from school (it was only half a day because of parent teacher conferences) and Grandma Joan joined us for the day.
They woke up that morning and we gave them their Chanukah present.
Of course the first thing they had to have was a NYC pretzel!
The pretzel vendor wanted to get in the pic
Our first stop was to see the spectacular Rockefeller Christmas Tree.
Next we were off to the big show. I'm not sure who was more excited, me or Kaitlyn. It was a moment I have always waited to share with my little girl.
LOVE.THIS.FOREVER.

For lunch, we went to the famous Ellen's Stardust Diner, Home of the Singing Waitstaff.  The ambiance, entertainment and milkshakes were top notch!
Three Generations
With full tummies, we walked to Times Square.  A trip to the city wouldn't be complete without a visit to Toys R Us and The Disney Store.
Daddy's favorite candy
Our second surprise was going to Macy's to see Santa. This was one of my favorite moment's. Santa was amazing, He took his time with the twins and really showed how much he cared about them. He told them how important it was to listen to your parents and behave. BEST.SANTA.EVER.
Soooo appropriate for her!
We were lucky enough to go across the street to visit Uncle Michael in his office.
Amazing view from Uncle Mike's office building
Our last stop of the day was back at Rockefeller Center to see the tree in it's night time beauty. We must have walked close to 65-70 blocks that day. We were so proud of the kids (and Grandma!).
Yup. Katie was over it.
Yes. Yes I certainly do.
