A Snake, a Turtle and a Possum...?

The twins and their friends at daycare got to take part in another intergenerational program today. This activity was presented by Sweetbriar Nature Center. The organization brought in wildlife for the residents and the preschoolers. Amongst them were a snake, turtles, an owl and a possum. I was able to be a part of the program as well (another benefit to having the twins in the daycare center where I work) and got to witness how they reacted to the animals. Ryan had no fear...even I wouldn't go near the snake. Katie showed no love for the snake either but she loved the turtles.
