Today you are 18 months old. A year and a half has gone by since our little 5 pounder entered the world. You now weigh in at 24lbs. You love to eat and we're not exactly sure where you put it all. You still can't stand veggies but you love all fruit, cucumbers and bread. Whenever there is something on your plate you don't like you put it to the side or feed it to the dog. We are not sure you are digging this whole twin brother thing yet. Ryan tries to hug you and you push him away and you'd rather not share anything with him. Mommy and Daddy love to watch when you imitate each other. I call it "monkey see, monkey do". You love, love, love to be close to daddy and usually won't leave his side when you are with him. Sometimes you are shy around others and very timid. It still takes you a while to warm up. We are still working on getting you to walk full time. At home, you have the confidence to do it but still prefer crawling as your mode of transportation. Your vocabulary consists of: Mommy, Daddy, Daisy, tickle tickle, nite nite, i-in (ryan), no, dank you (thank you), mo (more), roar (lion), and ba (sheep). Your favorite toys are your pink dolly, shape shorter, Daisy and anything you shouldn't have! Your big, brown eyes continue to light up our world everyday!
We love you.
Mommy and Daddy
18 months going on 21! Boy, you are giving us a run for our money. You are getting so big so fast and weigh 29lbs. Every day brings new things for you. We love your "happy go lucky" (most of the time) personality. You are so lovable, love to give hugs and kisses upon request or on your own. Mommy loves it when you just come up to me and give me a hug. You are also very jealous. Whenever I hold Katie, you come over and try to push her away. I tell you all the time I have enough love for both my babies but you don't want to hear it. Your favorite activity is to walk, walk, walk. You could go for miles. Your favorite show is Big Comfy Couch and you like to sit and look at books. You are tolerating your PKU diet well and mommy is experimenting with new foods and cooking for you. We are all going to learn together each day. It amazes me that you understand everything we tell you. You follow commands and are very helpful to us. When mommy asks you to give her something or to bring Katie her cup, you do. It's very cute! It seems a new word is coming every few days. Currently you can say: Hi, hewo (hello), buh (bye), da, Daisy, u (up), uh-oh, go, baby, dank oo (thank you), roar (lion), ba (sheep), and oof (woof). Ryan, you are a happy boy and you fill our hearts with such love.
Love,
Mommy and Daddy
