Your big brown eyes looking at us make us melt! We love watching you learn and discover new things every day. You love to sort and stack and have mastered the shape sorter. Your determination to complete a task makes us so proud. Daddy thinks he is your favorite toy because you use him as a jungle gym. You make mommy and daddy laugh every day. Especially when you lay and the floor and say "tickle tickle". We love watching you sleep at night, holding your pink dolly, looking so peaceful. May you always have sweet dreams. Happy Thanksgiving Peanut!
Ryan,
Your smile and laugh is infectious! You have the best little belly laugh and we make certain tickling you is part of our daily routine just so we can hear it. Your hugs and cuddles warm the hearts of everyone you come in contact with. You are definitely a risk taker! The second we turn around you are pushing something over to the couch so you can climb on it. You are most certainly are a little instigator. Some days you know how to push Katie's buttons and others you couldn't be sweeter to her. The wheels are always turning for you. We love watching you sit down and flip thru a book. The look on your face when one of us walks in to the room always brightens our day. Happy Thanksgiving Monkey!
For the two of you we are most thankful. You both bring such joy into our lives we don't even remember life before you. You have both taught us patience and how precious life is. When I found out I was pregnant, it was about a month before Thanksgiving. I remember telling people on that particualr Thanksgiving and how excited everyone was. I'll never forget going around the table saying what we are thankful for and I said "I am thankful my sister (Aunt Sherri) won't have to be my surrogate." (I am thankful however that she did considerate it!). Now, here we are, your second Thanksgiving.
Mommy and Daddy are thankful for so many things...
Our family- You all know how important you are to us. Thank you for all your help, all the babysitting, all the advice and for just listening when we need to talk. This is the first Thanksgiving with out my dad but I am so thankful he got to watch Katie and Ryan grow their first year. I know he continues to watch.
Our friends-Thank you for being the best friends anyone could ask for.
Our health- Being the rough year that is has, we are thankful for what we have and the healthy life we blessed with. We are especially thankful for all the advances and research that continues in the PKU field so we can continue to provide the healthiest lifestyle for Ryan.
Happy Thanksgiving from our family to yours!
