Bloom Where You are Planted

I love gardening. I think it's thrill of finding a new vegetable sprouting, digging in the dirt, and the taste of the fresh off the vine results. I remember growing up and having a garden in our yard. This year we planted broccoli, tomatoes, peppers, basil, parsley, zucchini, strawberries, and cucumbers. I would love to expand ours and maybe I will in the future but, for now, we are enjoying the "fruits of our labor".

Carole sent me a garden kit for Mother's Day. I rarely have started plants from seeds but these really took off. Kate and I planted them together. They included daisies, marigolds, and petunias.
I also completed a little landscaping project to add some life and dimension to the patio.
