A 3-Letter Word

If someone asked me my favorite 3-letter word, I would respond, "Mom". Whether it is me referring to my mom or the twins referring to me, it's a life changing word. I can't imagine my world without either one.
Being apart from my mom the past 10 months have been difficult. Aside from being away at college, this was the first Mother's Day I didn't get to spend with her. I talk to her everyday, sometimes more than once, Face-time as often as we can and tell my mom pretty much everything. She gives me advice (sometimes unsolicited), calms my nerves (or rattles them) and supports me in decisions I make (even if she doesn't like them).  Now only if I can convince her to move to Georgia...
Being a mom is a gift. A surprising, exhausting, exhilarating, exciting, motivating, and challenging gift. Ryan and Kaitlyn, from the first Mother's Day in my belly, in my arms and today... you give me reason to breathe, take my breath away, make me short of breath, give me moments where I have to hold my breath, take deep breaths and let out many sighs. You are my world and through all the craziness, I love being your "3-letter word".
