Some New Firsts!

Kaitlyn has made a good friend in school who she talks with daily (FaceTime) and enjoys hanging out with.  She invited Emily for a sleepover (Feb 15th),a  first for both the girls. Of course, they made plans to do lots of fun things and stay up all night. The night/day was spent shopping for slime supplies, making slime, playing Twister, Roblox, and who knows what else they were up too! It was a successful sleepover for them both!

Another first for Kate was this weekend when she went camping with her new Girl Scout troop without me.  It was a little bit of a rough start, a few texts asking me to come get her, but she powered through as I knew she would. After the first night, I didn't hear from her until late the next evening so I knew things were going well. Overall, she had a good time but when I asked if she would do it again her response was, "Not without you".  We'll have to keep working on that!
