Far From Perfect
I am not perfect. As a matter of fact, I am far from it. I find the importance in making time for what matters and what it is that makes a difference in my life. I'm often asked, "How do you do it all?" I work 40 hours plus a week, commute almost 2 hours a day, take my kids to activities 3 to 4 times a week plus weekend activity, I'm a Girl Scout leader, and working towards my Master's degree. I make time for what matters to me-creating memories and a better life for my children. I try to help the girls in my troop become tomorrow's leaders. One of my biggest pet peeves is when people complain they don't have enough time in the day. I don't need a pat on the back or praise for what I do. The reward to me is the memories, smiles and sense of accomplishment. Make time in the day to do what you love, after all, we won't have this time forever.
