One of Our Hardest Goodbyes...

A piece of our heart broke on August 13, 2016. Daisy passed in my arms on the way to the vet. She passed a few minutes before her scheduled appointment which I believe was her final gift as we didn't have to euthanize her. She waited until Matt and I left the house so the twins didn't have to witness it. I recently asked my dad for a sign (to help me know when the right time would be) and this morning a butterfly came and landed near me. We are heartbroken but comforted because we know she had an amazing life and gave us unconditional love. She truly made our world a better place as you can see from the pictures I am sharing. We will forever miss her.

These 2 pictures were taken the day before she passed. We were going to have professional photos done but in my heart I knew she wouldn't make it. I am so glad I captured these.

I also can't begin to express how amazing our vet, Dr. Duffy, is. They also made a plaster of her paw print. Our family and friends were so thoughtful. Thank you for the cards, phone calls, donations in her name and texts.
