Little Surprises are the Best!

Sep 17, 2015

Hi Mrs. & Mr. Lettau,

Today in art class Ryan  was picked as the secret artist. Every week I pick two names out of an envelope at the beginning of class. The kids do not know who was picked., they only know if they followed all the rules for the art period. At the end of class I tell them who it was if they did the right thing. They then get to pick from 4 rewards. Ryan picked to have a positive email sent home.

Ryan was a pleasure to have in class today. He worked on his Square 1 Art drawing quietly and put in a lot of effort.  I look forward to seeing Ryan continue to succeed in art in 3rd grade.

Aww . I love that idea! I'm not sure what the other rewards are but he knows how to make his
  parents day!

Thank you and have a great year!

Mr. & Mrs. Lettau,

Today in art class Kaitlyn was picked as the secret artist. Every week I pick two names out of an envelope at the beginning of class. The kids do not know who was picked., they only know if they followed all the rules for the art period. At the end of class I tell them who it was if they did the right thing. They then get to pick from 4 rewards. Kaitlyn picked to have a positive email sent home.

Kaitlyn, as always, is a pleasure to have in class. Today she was working on her Dice monster.  I look forward to seeing Kaitlyn continue to succeed in art in 3rd grade.

 Thank you,
  Mrs. Morstadt
