- Sleep at Grandma's, Aunt Tammi's and Aunt Sherri's
- Get a new dog and a new guinea pig
- Go to Disney World
- Go in the pool
- Get a pool house
- Go the movies and see Turbo
I think the were pretty happy we were able to knock off some of the realistic things on the list!
Friday July 19
Katilyn had a play date with her friend Sofia. They are great friends and I hope they stay friends well into the future.
Sunday July 21
We crossed their first desire off the list and took the kids to Legoland Discovery Center in Westchester, NY. Too say Ryan is obsessed LEGO would be an understatement. He could spend hours building and rebuilding his sets and not a day goes by he isn't carrying around a LEGO mini-figure with him. The attractions there including a factory tour, building race cars, construction sites, play zones and LEGO friends area. The twins had a great time running area and using their imagination.
Monday July 22
Next up was Adventureland Amusement Park. We had a great time enjoying all the rides with cousin Rachel and our friends, the Bonett Boys.
Tuesday July 23/Wednesday July 24
You got to have a sleepover at Grandma Joan's house and Mommy and Daddy spent the day (Wed) at Foxwoods Casino. No matter how much we love you sometimes Mommy and Daddy need some alone time!
Thursday July 25
Katie and I had some girl time and went for mani and pedi's while the boys went to see the movie Turbo.
Friday July 26
It was a beautiful day for a trip to NYC. It was your first Long Island RailRoad trip! We spent the day with Aunt Sherri, Tyler and Rachel walking around the city. We visited Toys R Us, the Lego store, the American Girl Store and Dylan's Candy Store. The highlight of the day was the Central Park Zoo and a spur of the moment meet up with cousin Renee.
Sometimes the best vacation are the ones closest to home.
