Five years old is a big deal in the Lettau house! We had a fun filled week of celebrating! The morning of your birthday started with your annual birthday "number" pancakes.
We planned on taking you to Adventureland but the weather was not agreeable so we took you to one of your favorite bounce-n-play places.
We went to dinner at Nishiki Hibachi. The food was cooked in front of us. Katie was not too happy when part of the "performance" included a little fire. In the end the staff came out banging a drum and sang "Happy Birthday".

After dinner we headed home for the best part...dessert and presents!
The next day at school you celebrated with your friends and teachers. Mommy made Princess and Lightening McQueen cupcakes as you requested.
Two days after your birthday the weather was bright and sunny and we continued our celebration at Adventureland.

And finally, a 5th birthday wouldn't be complete without a Paaaaaaaaaarrrrtyyyyy!! This year we had a mini bowling party. We invited our family and friends and had such a fun time!

As we do every year, we sang "Happy Birthday" to you individually and for the first time Ryan didn't cry!
In his words, "Mommy, I'm five years old now. I'm not going to cry."
