Today was a great day. It was the first time I took you both to an outing alone. I mean, we've done parks, playdates, shopping and some fun places but this was the first time I took you to a carnival, no stroller and no help. The day couldn't have been better. We went to a carnival at a local nature center. I was so proud of the way you listened all day, behaved, and there was no fighting. As I told you this on the way home, Ryan responded, "Mom, you told us to be on our best behavior and we heard you so we listened." Hmm, there's a concept.
