Sweet 16

Jessica,

I remember the day you were born. You were the first grandchild which went hand in hand with being the first niece in our family. You have heard all the stories before-how we would fight over you and just sit for hours and watch your every move. I treasure the days I used to babysit for you. Almost every weekday morning your mother would bring you into my room and you would cuddle with me in bed while watching Barney. I loved picking out your clothes and showing you off when we would go out in public. You were the first to give me the experience I would use as a mother. I am so proud of the young lady you have become. Whatever you strive for in life, you can accomplish. Reach for the stars-Poppy is always watching over you and cheering you on. Dream big Jess, dream big!
