We took our first family vacation from June 13th until June 18th in Ocean City, Maryland. It was such a great week! We stayed at an Ocean front hotel just steps from the beach. We woke up every morning and went out on the balcony. The both of you loved to look at the Ocean. We spent most days on the beautiful beach. Ryan, you couldn't get enough of being in the water! You took to the waves immediately and the look of excitement on your face was priceless. Katie, you preferred to be a bathing beauty and stay on dry land. You could play in the sand for hours!
Each night we would take a walk along the boardwalk and eat ices. Some of our other adventures included going to amusement parks, a family bike ride and a nature cruise ride to see wild horses. Mommy and Daddy didn't want this vacation to end. We get some much joy from seeing things through your eyes and watching you experience things for the first time. Where should we go next?!!

I've actually camped on Assateague. It's very cool to have the wild ponies wandering through your camp ground although you have to keep your food in the car!
Looks like you had a great time! I can't wait until the twins are older and we can have a proper vacation. It's so hard when they are just toddlers or infants.
