Things Katie Loves at the Moment

• Dolly. You carry Dolly everywhere.
• Ketchup on everything. And I mean everything!
• Dora the Explorer
• Playing Ring around the Rosy
• Coming in Mommy & Daddy's bed very early in the morning
• Doing everything on your own. Buckling your seat belt, putting on your shoes, taking off your diaper and clothes.
• Picking out your clothes and accessories
• Chasing Daisy around the house
• Playing "house" with your Baby Dolls
• Sitting on Mommy's lap, telling me "rub back" and doing "night-night"
• Looking at photographs
• Sitting in the rocking chair after a bath and singing "Rock-a-baby"
• Following Ryan around. You rarely let him out of your sight.

Things Katie dislikes at the Moment

• Vegetables. You still refuse to eat veggies. Mommy is going to have to get creative.
• Help. You are very independent and stubborn!
• The pool. You are still afraid of the water.
• Sharing- depends on the day.
• Bugs. Any type of bugs- You scream "Look! A bug, a bug!"
• Napping. You only nap if you fall asleep in the car.
• Water. You are not a big fan of the pool

Social Attributes

• You have a very strong personality.
• You continue to be very shy in social situations.
• Even when you are with people you are familiar with, it takes you a while to warm up.
• You are talking more and more each day. You most popular phrase of the moment is "What's this?"
• You are a tad bit possessive and tend to want whatever Ryan has at the moment.

Physical Attributes

• You are like the energizer bunny- you keep going and going.
• You wake up very early in the morning and are ready to go!
• At times, you can be a little aggressive. You don't take discipline well and use your hands to hit more often than Mommy & Daddy would like to acknowledge at this time.
• Big Beautiful Eyes!
• Everyone we encounter says you are a "mini-me". Your beautiful, curly hair definitely comes from your momma!
• Wrestling with Ryan is one of your favorite past times.
• You fight with Ryan as much as you get along with one another.

How is it possible our little 5 pounder is 3 years old?!! You're an amazing little girl.
Each day you seem to grow a little bigger and we can't believe how fast the time is going. You definitely test our patience with your stubborn streak but your determination is undeniable. Your big, brown eyes continue to brighten our world and we are blessed to have the little girl we have always wanted. We know this upcoming year is going to bring some many new things and just like each year before, we can't wait to see what it has in store for us.
